Community Partner Meetings
Throughout August, the Watershed Master Plan team will host a virtual Priority Actions Workshop with invited community partners, local jurisdictions, open space districts, resource and regulatory agencies, and nonprofit organizations. Building on feedback gathered throughout the planning process, the workshop will provide an opportunity to review and discuss more than 30 draft Priority Actions developed to address the Lower Peninsula Watershed’s most pressing flood risk, ecosystem, water quality, and climate resilience needs.
The workshop will encourage collaborative discussion on the draft actions, helping the team validate priorities, identify opportunities for partnership, and refine proposed actions based on technical expertise and local knowledge. Feedback received during the workshop will inform the continued development of the Watershed Master Plan and help ensure the proposed actions reflect regional priorities and community needs.
